Who's Who?

So, you are asking, "Who is going with you to Brazil?"  Or maybe you are being kind and leaving out a few words, and you really want to ask, "Who in their right mind would put up with you to go with you to Brazil?"

There are 11 of us on the mission team heading to Brazil.
Holcombe Baird
Ed Beck
Dave Cooper
Pam Cooper
Gary Cyphert
Dee Emery
Troy Ivey
Rebecca Parsio
Curtis Pollock
Sandy Townsend
Chris Winstead

Here are a few photos from the team meetings.  Yes, these are the very folks who will place themselves in a pressurized pipe with wings, to fly from Richmond, Virginia to Sao Paulo Brazil via Atlanta, Georgia at an altitude of 39,000 feet and a speed of 575mph for ll hours and 40 minutes on the longest leg!

I guess it is time to make the comment about not being able to get the entire the team together at one time.  You have heard the saying about the difficulty in herding cats.  I can tell you, Chris is doing an excellent job.  Everyone is kept informed through emails and meeting.  It is exciting to see the chatter and cooperation increase as our departure time arrives.  But, Chris has a fool proof plan to make sure everyone is together at the start of the mission trip.  He is holding all of our passports until we see him at the airport on Thursday afternoon.  It is not until then that he will release our documents along with our airline ticket.  See, I told you he was doing an excellent job!  (So far he has not threatened to leave any unclaimed passports in Sao Paulo!)
